Obama Girls Are Just Gorgeous in J. Crew!

Malia and Sasha Obama looked stunning in punchy colored coats and scarves as they stood beside their father, President Barack Obama, and watched him take the oath of office this morning. Malia opted for bright blue and black accessories, while her little sis, Sasha, wore pale pink accented with orange.

The thick coats were softened by satin sashes that made an age-appropriate fashion statement while keeping the young ladies warm. Life&Style confirmed that the darling coats were from Crewcuts. What an exciting life the Obama girls will have in Washington!

i dont know about you guys, but my kids never wore j crew before they were 18, ill believe they are real american girls when they are photographed wearing something from wal mart or target.

They are gorgeous, poised, amazing! I agree with Elizabeth Hasselbeck's daughter:I want the picture of them gazing at their father taking the oath in a frame. E.H told the nicest, most touching story on The View today about her daughter Grace asking for that picture in a frame.

I heard the clothes were designed for them and will be in stores next fall. I love the coats, also the white ones they were wearing earlier.

I honestly doubt those outfits were purchased. I am more than sure that they were donations. The clothes were made especially for them and can not be sold to anyone else. And besides like everyone else said they are cute and great role models for little girls.

What difference does it make if they have a lot of clothes? Why does it matter if they wear a brand new outfit every day? Clothes dont make a person. These girls will be great role models to many little girls around the world. Just as long as they are dressed accordingly - its all good with me. :) Have a wonderful evening!

malia is going to grow up to be one heck of a stunner. i can't wait to see how polished they will be as teens. little girls need proper role models these days! forget miley cyrus, she's horrible for them to idolize. the obama girls have class. i hope they'll set a good example.

MissSushi, the girls are obviously not going to be wearing the same outfits over and over during the heavily-publicized events. Besides, they're dressed in a chic yet modest, age-appropriate fashion.

I wouldn't really say they have a lot of clothing. Of course this week they won't be wearing the same thing twice but I don't see Michelle buying them excessive amounts of clothes.

I LOVE these girls. They are so cute and stylish and dress appropriately for their ages. Can't wait to spend the next 8 years (yes, I said 8!) watching them grow up! Oh and MissSushi of course they have a lot of clothing on! Its freezing outside!!!
