Lil Tip: Reading While You Roll

Car time is not just for commuting from place to place. Many moms have come up with clever ways to incorporate learning while their kids are on the go. The other day we offered up a tip for visual learners and then one lilsugar commenter shared her family's tradition that fits right in with today being NEA's Read Across America day.

We have a tradition that the youngest reader (emerging reader) reads out loud on the way to school each morning, their choice of books. I read that reading out loud helps with comprehension and it seems to be true with my girls
