They're cute and all, but I often wonder why dads get so many accolades for... being dads. We rarely get any "Hot Mom Alerts" where it's listed how the mom changes the diapers, plays with the baby, cooking, cleaning, etc. Sure, I think my husband's a great dad. Exceptional in fact. It just seems that in reading the descriptions, dads aren't expected to be involved or actually do anything but provide the sperm, and that actually playing with the child is going above and beyond the call of duty.
