Although the price is a bit hefty for a toy, it's an alternative for parents who aren't ready to trust their own digital camera to small hands.

We had one these and it really didn't hold up. I agree with macgirl you are better off buying an inexpensive digital. In our house I gave my daughter (the only one interested in taking pictures) our old digital after buying her two different "kids" digitals that ended up not being worth the expense.

When my son was younger people would always give him disposable cameras. The amount of money you pay to get photos developed easily added up to make it worth it to buy him a $130 Canon 3 megapixel digital camera. Now he can take all the pictures he wants of the dogs and I don't pay $15 a pop to get a bunch of blurry dog smiles ;-)

adorable. but ck brings up a good point. i'm going to buy my kid a good plastic one that isn't digital. hopefully. if not, my first camera from boots in england is still in my closet at my parent's home.

my nephew has one. we've only had it for 2 months and it's already broken! plus, the quality of the pictures are really bad!!! i would not recommend it.

My 2 year old son got one of these for Christmas and he loves it! Great idea! I love seeing what he takes pictures of and this camera is built toddler tough!

my 5 year old daughter received this for Christmas and LOVES it. Of course, she has taken some hilariously inappropriate pictures but she's learning. So funny.

My son has the blue one and he loves it! It really is tough, that thing has been through hell already and it keeps on clickin'! :P
