Kids' Street Style on Ladys & Gents

LS: What kids' wardrobe pieces do you suggest moms splurge on, and which should they save on?
JK: I love getting a couple of special pieces each season from Bonpoint for the girls and Trico Field for the boys, and I always buy them big so my kids can wear them for years. I think it's great to save on the basics and the Gap, OshKosh, and J.Crew have all the basics covered in the best way!
ES: For girls, splurge on really cute dresses and save on more casual clothes like jeans, khakis, tights, and jackets. Things that kids play in all the time shouldn't be too expensive. For boys, splurge on sweaters, nicer pants, and shoes. Everything else, like tees, shorts, bathing suits, tanks, and sweats, save on.
