I don't give any meds at all without my ped's input, and I update as my children's weight, age, etc updates.
I'm still pissed about cold medicine being absolutely unavailable for kids under 6, though. They can claim studies show it's not effective all they want, but when it was available for my older kids and they were given it, it worked. They weren't given it often, and always with input from the ped. I understand the whole "no OTC" thing, but I should be able to get a prescription for it or something.
