With more and more schools adding computer classes to the lower grades creative memorization techniques are key. Parents everywhere teach the alphabet through pictures, so why not teach typing the same way? That was designer Christopher Monro Delorenzo's approach when he created these charming Picture Keyboard Stickers ($12) for tiny typists. If your child is a visual learner these may be the ticket to typing triumph.

Good call on Quaker, Sunday. And MissSushi, you're totally right, S is skull. I didn't get that one at all! I kept seeing the nose as a mouth and the teeth as clothes. Eh, anyway, like snarky said, these are more for adults.

well i was looking at the website, and i really really really don't think the artist had kids in mind when he designed this. unless i'm looking at the wrong site, i think it's just something fun for adults.

I thought Q was for quaker... like the quaker oats guy. But I agree with the others that this seems pointless. I learned to type in kindergarten, so I was around 5 I guess. I cannot see most 4 year old kids knowing Bowie, Yeti, Geisha, Jaws, Devil, or Zeus. You would think they would have come up with some better kid friendly stuff.

lol, a skeleton...? or a skull, either or, same thing. I think this is a retched idea. Seeing the letters until jr high, then covered keys forcing you to learn is the way i like.

Is "y" a yeti or a yak? And is that supposed to be a queen? Why is she wearing a colonial hat instead of a crown? And seriously, what is "s"?

I think that the stickers themselves are very cute, but I agree with the other posters - I want my kids to know the letters themselves. And the pictures themselves are confusing.

Um, this is the most terrible idea I've seen in a loooong time. Visual learners can learn letters on a keyboard because they are depicted VISUALLY. How the heck can we expect kids to learn where the letters on a keyboard are if they are typing on a bunch of pictures, some of which I can't even figure out. I mean, come on, what 6 year old knows Zeus is, let alone David Bowie???? At LEAST the pictures should be accompanied by the letters.

I think I'd rather have my future kids learn the letters than try and decipher something like that when they are going to have to learn the letters eventually anyway.

Bowie for B? Seriously? I still can't figure out what S is, but having Jaws for J is pretty confusing when kids will know it as "shark." And why not use a zebra for Z instead of Zeus? My kids know their letters long before they know who Zeus is. And even my 12 year old has no clue who David Bowie is. Unless there's something I'm missing on B, and that doesn't speak well for it being clear to a toddler learning their letters.
