Summer is officially here, and we're celebrating the season's warm weather, lack of school, and general laid-back attitude. Now that we've reached the midpoint for the year, check out LilSugar's fun finds for the month, including a fun new cookbook, a cute bathing suit ensemble, and a fun way to celebrate National Ice Cream month! Have fun!
Pink Chicken Bathing Suits ($52)
Pink Chicken's line of modest bathing suits allow kids to be kids during the fun Summer months. The colorful suits come in three great patterns and the matching swim caps are just too cute for words!
Little Tikes Makin' Ice Cream ($35)
July is National Ice Cream Month and Little Tikes Makin' Ice Cream is the perfect way to celebrate. Equipped with a real ice cream maker (a gyroscope that twists and churns it with the aid of a hand crank) and 11 sundae accessories, it won't be long until your tot is putting the local shop out of business!
Cars 2 Cakelet Pan ($40)
I'm betting there will be more than a few Cars 2 birthday parties this Summer. Before going into licensing overload with Cars plates, napkins, and tablecloths, consider something a bit more subtle and creative. Williams-Sonoma's Cars 2 Cakelet Pan allows bakers to put their own creative twist on the popular characters, decorating them however they choose. It is the first time the cooking store has ever worked in conjunction with a major motion picture.
Peko Peko Cookbook ($30)
What happens when the world of kiddie food bloggers comes together to support a great cause? A cookbook, of course! Peko Peko is filled with 60 family-friendly Japanese recipes contributed by 56 bloggers, including some of our favorites like One Hungry Mama and The Naptime Chef . Best of all, all profits from the sale of the book will go to the GlobalGiving Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
Allergy Riders Baking Cups ($8)
Living with food allergy isn't fun, but Allergy Riders, an Australian company, is trying to make it prettier and safer. Their baking cups are designed to help party-throwers label allergy-free foods in a beautiful and colorful way. The company also creates coordinating toothpick flags that can be used in addition to, or instead of, the wrappers.
