Would You Dye Your Hair at Your Daughter's Request?

Julia Roberts recently sported a lil patch of pink hair and attributed the hued lock to her daughter, Hazel. The three year-old thought pastel tresses would look good on her mommy, so the actress obliged with a few colored strands.

If the look wasn't dramatically different, would you do this for your child?

My younger son's the one who'd be most likely to ask me to do something fun with my hair. He also is having fun helping me decide what my next tattoo will be.

Sure! I'd use a temporary color though. However, I have boys. They could care less about hair. My oldest though is trying to convince me to get a tattoo. THANK YOU NO.

i already have! me and my daughter both painted (temporary) a few strands pink! no biggie!

If it wasn't a drastic change then sure, why not? I could always cut my hair if I hated it and grow it back lol.

probably not, my hair color's much to difficult to match to change it back. Maybe some fake spray color for game spirit or something like that.

I could see doing a few strands the way she did. How about the other way--a friend once babysat for a woman who wanted to change her haircolour but wondered how it would look, so she dyed her FOUR YEAR OLD daughter's hair (which was the same original colour as hers).

Sure, why not have some fun? I can understand why someone would say no if I would hurt their job performance.

I'm usually pretty traditional with my hair, but after seeing the Julia Roberts interview, my twins, Evangeline and Genevieve (6) asked for pink and purple, and Adelaide (4) wanted light blue. I'm going to buy the dye tomorrow, and we're going to dye once the girls get back from Kindergarten. I'm excited! We'll see how it goes;)

I would do it. I have always loved coloring and cutting my hair, so I would welcome any excuse to do something fun with it.

Sure, although I want pink streaks when I decide to grow my hair back anyway. I'm pretty adventurous with my hair though.

I chose "other." I would definitely do it in a heartbeat, but it would either have to be disguisable or very subtle, as I can't really see garnering a whole lot of respect from my colleagues or a judge if I walked into a hearing or an important meeting with pastel strands of hair.
