Josh and Anna Duggar Expecting Baby!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are going to be grandparents! The couple made famous by their TLC show, Eighteen Kids and Counting, is growing their family. But, this time it's not Michelle who is with child, but her daughter-in-law, Anna. Joshua Duggar, 21, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle's brood, got married in September and the newlyweds recently announced their exciting baby news. The parents-to-be plan to leave the number of children they have in "God's hands" and name them with a theme, but no word if they will continue the "J" tradition. The bundle of joy is due on October 18. We're looking forward to the next generation of Duggars!

OMG the show is huge in my family sure my parents dont watch it, but my nephews, my sisters and brothers, my aunts and uncles, almost every one i know! did you see the newest episode yet? its when michelle (mother of the 19 kids) gets to hold josie, the new born at only 4 lbs!!
Just a few things to help set the record straight. The Duggars are conservative Baptist. Not Mormon, not Catholic. They believe that birth control pills caused a miscarriage is why they decided that God meant for them not to use artificial methods of birth control. They are on TV because they want people to understand that it is very possible to live a God-centered life in this day and age. They are financially independent so they do not accept any kind of government support for those kids. They BUILT their own house so that they didn't have to pay a contractor. Anna knew that she was marrying into a reality TV family. She agrees with and supports the decision to continue filming. I, for one, am very grateful that they have decided to allow all of America to share the joys of a true Christian way of life. So, while having 19 kids may seem strange to everyone else, they are following what they feel is God's plan for their life. Can all of the nay-sayers here say the same?
Dear Duggars, God Bless you for your joy and your commitment to one another and to something bigger than yourselves. You are an inspiration to me as an only parent of 3. Often I get discouraged but you lift me up and make me smile. Thank ALL of you for your stregnth and for the example you are to so many of us. May you continue to prosper, enjoy, and celebrate life!

Come on ya people...leave this family alone! I love the show, especially since Josh and Anna are married and expecting their little girl. The Duggars are a moral family with great values that some of us could learn a lesson from. I am very impressed with them. The family is debt free, they own their home w/o any payments. Can any of you say that? Take notes ya people! You might learn a thing or two.
you know what i don't give crap with what all these people are saying i really think that josh and Anna are going to be great parents i am so happy for them. i to am a Christian and i believe that it does not matter how many you have you have as many kids as God will give you. I think it would have been better (financially, mentally, spiritually, etc) if Josh and Anna had waited at least 2 years before having children. That way they would have had time to build a strong, healthy marriage (which would have been a great foundation for a family). It's going to be weird for them when they wake up one day and all their children are gone and they don't even really know eachother.

It's going to be weird for them when they are 60 and all their kids are gone and they don't even really know eachother.
i think it is really funny that others judge or make remarks on others peoples happy lives without having all the information to back up the statement. talk about uneducated if you want to disagree thats fine but atleast know the facts that they both work I would prefer the duggar family to have the kind of children they do then, the hateful, disrespectful, and uncaring children who come from those who write hurtful and untrue things about the birth of an inoccent child.
i would like to say congratulations and i am very happy to hear the good news and you will be such great parents and i watch you all on TLC all the time and your parents have done terrific jobs raising you both ignore all these negative comments here i believe with all my heart you will be such perfect parents and god bless all of you look forward to hearing if its a boy or girl as long as it is healthy happy and strong you are such positive and wonderful role models for all of us young adults and teens
God Bless the Duggars and their Entire Family! For once we have a program on Television that is worth watching! As a Christian and someone who had nine other siblings, I can assure the doubters on this blog that the Duggars are truly an Inspiration, they live with No Debt, that is what the Bible Teaches us..Another words if you CAN'T Afford something you don't get it! That is the problem with Most Americans today, along with their inability to parent children in a Godly and Wholesome way. Without cussing swearing, drugs, television, violence, and the MILLION Other Negative things found on the World Wide Web and Television. No wonder they LIMIT what their children watch on Television! If MORE American were like this family, America and for that matter the World would be a Much Better place in which to Live. As far as Education, I can assure you the Duggars can handle whatever comes their way, instead of their parents throwing a Harry Potter series in front of their children, they are giving the Only Book worth Reading the Bible...As for Michelle and Jom Bob, instead of turning the TV to get their kids away from them, they do just the oppisite, they give them unconditional Love and their personal time and effection, something that is MISSING in Most families today. I pray and Hope that the Lord Continues to Bless Every Member of that Family for the Glory of God...They are a Treasure and a Gift that MANY can choose to learn something from...If todays young children were like the Duggar families children, we would not have young unwed girls having sexual relations, we would not have young men treating women like they are worthless. I can only Pray and Hope my 24 year old son would find a young lady like one of the Duggar girls. Congratulations and Best Wishes, to Both Anna and Josh on their September delivery...God Bless Them!
This family is a little more realistic than others we have seen on 'reality' television. They are working and supporting their family with jobs not because they have a large family. With that being said, I hope there are trusts set up for each of these children and the money is NOT going to the parents in any way, shape, or form so we don't see this family disintigrate before the public eye also. Love their house though often wonder what the huge commercial kitchen is for in addition to her very large kitchen---anyone know? As a mother of a large family myself, if it is working for them-who are we to judge and it does seem to be working for them. The only other comment on this family and all the reality families out there is there is too much information about their location for the world and for the safety of the children. All in all-this family seems to have found what works for them and obviously enjoy each other's company. What is it about larger families that so fascinates people? I know when I would go out with my kids 'enmasse' people often stopped and asked if Morman, Catholic, what, they just couldn't imagine a lady having 10+ children because she wanted to.
I watch this show and am very impressed by this family and thier values and standards also unlike all the other shows this family is being true to themselves and yes the are getting paid but none of this is going to thier heads
So a soft calm voice MUST be a fake one, because there is NO way in the world a woman could actually WANT this life for herself, lol. Your so worried about the children being exposed on this reality show, but you didn't mention the children that have been on the reality shows on E, those shows are ok because they are lives of celebs, not Christians? As Christians we do NOT believe you are born a homosexual, according to the Bible it is a sin, & it is a CHOICE, so they won't have that issue. Again, we also believe that God heals depression, I have been healed from depression by God, did NOT need meds. But since you are not a born again Christain, I do not expect you to understand. Also, we have non Christian family members that we tolerate as well. We love them because they are family, we do not respect their beliefs, we tolerate them. Non christians do not even respect our beliefs, and unlike us, our beliefs aren't even tolerated. According to you we are a cult...LOL. When you make a statemnet like this, use your brain, because you are saying that EVERYONE that is a Christian is in a cult. You are very ignorant. How many wives does Jim Bob have? He has 1 wife, NOT 10. Do they leave their property? Yes. Are they hiding from the world/ society? NO. So, before you try to sway these people to believing they are a cult, make sure you do ALL of your homework, and make sure you share ALL and not only what you want these readers to believe. Also, they know that they opened the door to all kinds of judgments by sharing their family with TV. Obviously they do NOT care what you think, or they would live according to YOUR beliefs and not their own.
First of all the Duggar family has ZERO debt, can you say the same? I doubt it. Two, your worried about the attention the children receive. Well lets look at the mothers who work outside the home with only having 1 or 2 children that are either in daycare from 6am - 6pm or in school and then daycare, and then a bed time of 8pm or sooner. Mom wants to have her time to relax, so how many hours does mom have with her children?? 2 or 3 hours a night, and thats with baths and dinner, and if the child is lucky a story before bed. Yeah, so a mom with 18 kids that stays home to raise ALL of them, and she also educates them, can't possibly give them the attention they need...but the mother who needs to work outside the home to have fullfilment in her life (cause her kids don't do it for her) does. Those of you who need to bash or assume are ignorant and sad, you have so much hatred for a family you don't understand. I don't agree with getting married so young, or getting pregnant right away. I understand their beliefs, I just don't agree with them Josh & Anna, but I don't hate what I don't agree with. It's a waste of energy. Plus, you look so stupid assuming things about this family that aren't even true. Educate yourself on this family before you make your judgments on them, because you look so stupid not knowing what you are talking about.

Give me a break, this family isn't doing the environment any favours. For example their multiple washers and dryers run constantly. Their carbon footprint is ginormous!
The only thing that scares me is to read the posts from people who think that too many people are harming the earth. What, are you still brainwashed from "The Population Bomb"??? Really sheeple, do your research ... we are feeding more people with less farms because of technology, the scientists have revised temperature readings to reveal that the earth is in fact NOT warming (oops, better call it "climate change" now instead of "global warming") and birthrates have fallen so much in Europe and Japan that they are sending people home to procreate. HOORAY for the Duggars! Soon the libs will have (un) bred themselves into extinction.
I personally do not care how many children a couple choose to have. The episodes make me want to scream because Michelle keeps having children but whose taking care of these children? Oh wait!! She gets to take care of the sweet little newborn until she gets tired of that and then she passes it on to an older child to care for while she goes to make another newborn for herself to care for. This is ridiculous!! Also.. pay attention who takes care of the cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. Not Michelle and surely not Jim Bob!

Well, I got to admit, the above is one anonymous post I will support! Well said, whoever you are.....
When people say who are we to judge, the duggars chose to be on television. And we better be judging, and watching a little more closely, because something very wrong is going on here. To start, the duggars chose to exploit their privacy to a)teach us the viewer about a more rightous way to live according to them (ie one of the little boys, talking about his cousin michelle's different religion/view points says "she's different. but we tolerate her", and b)to receive money. Plain and simple. By doing so, they have opened the gates, to not just criticism of their lives, but to dangers they are blissfully ignorant of (ie the power of photoshop/obsessed stalkers/child molesters, etc.) For the most part, the children are suffocated under JimBob's all knowing authority (Michelle is a follower of his as well) and will be ashamed to pursue any of their true personality outside what is allowed or premolded for them. God forbid one of those duggar kids be gay, or that one should suffer from depression/anxiety and need modern medicine. I am angry at both of those parents and TLC for encouraging this in a very one sided light on their lives. The number of kids is alarmning, environmentally unfriendly, and creates a limit of any sort of personal relationship those parents can truly have with each individual child. But the most alarming part of all is that this family truly acts as a cult, with Jimbob as their fearless leader, and America seems to eat it up as babies continue to pop out and Michelle talks in her soft sweet voice. Cults generally have one chosen leader, a chosen religion, isolation from the outside world, lack of birth control as the cult leader must procreate as many children as possible, and the idea that their knowledge is the true knowledge. Another example- the duggars trip to the field where they were digging for diamonds, jimbob announces that these people have circular thinking about the age of the world, and that the world really is as old as it says in the bible. Cults also have ways of enticing new people in. Michelles voice most likely is not real, but it is very sweet and innocent. Jimbob owns local rental properties (most likely in lieu with the church) and overall their message, which some viewers are missing or chose to ignore, is that their lifestyle is pious, superior, and true. perhaps by ignoring birth control we can start following in the rightousness too, and make this world a better place. good luck with that
I like the Duggar's alot, but I wish Josh and Anna had of enjoyed it being just the two of them for at least and year and enjoyed time being newlyweds, but oh well it's their life. I still love you Duggars!!1
i think it is cool they are haven a baby . this is one of the few showes me and my daughter watch together. i think it is cool there baby is due october 18 . i am a mom of2 children and a grandma of 1 who is also born october 18
