Do You Plan to Buy Jon and Kate's Books?

The other night on Jon and Kate Plus 8, the Gosselins mentioned that Kate has a second book, Eight Little Faces: A Mom's Journey ($11) out. This is in addition to the couple's earlier book, Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets ($14). A lot of lilsugar readers are fans of the family's television show, but have you (or do you also plan) on picking up their texts?

I picked other because I want to read it soon but I have work putting me down so I cant read it. I just know I am GOING to read it! I am DETERMINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I

No, am not going to purchase the new book. I have the time to read their book but do not want to support them any longer. I understand that being on a TV show adds to the stress of a family but instead of stepping back and getting a handle on her marriage Kate just wants to press on. If her children are all that matters to her then she SHOULD step back and start concentrating on her marriage and start treating her husband the way he deserves to be treated. They say that they are a Christian family where are the Christian values?

i hate how people insist that jon & kate are just in it for the spotlight...if you had 8 kids, wouldn't you do everything in your power to make enough money to support them?i mean if i had 8 kids i would whore myself out too! you may not like that they get free products, but they are providing for their children. the videos, the books, & the free trips are just a few of the things that they need to do in order to make enough money to put 8 kids through college. keep doing what you're doing!!

No, I'm not paying Jon & Kate to bring up their children. No one paid my parents to support *me*. Luckily we have these things called libraries. Someone on a Jon & Kate site reminded us that these existed, and I wasn't in a hurry - so I got in the queue - I was #35, but it went fast. It was a fast read too. If the library has the other book, i'll read it. But there's a $60 book with theses about Grey's Anatomy that I'd rather they get.

No--I don't want to help exploit these children any more than they already have been exploited. They deserve to live normal childhoods without always being made into a product.

I havent' read them, but I'd consider reading them. I enjoy the show, and I'd love to hear more about the beginnings, life before the sextuplets, and I'd give it a shot. I don't understand the Kate-hate. Why even read these posts if you hate the show so much? There are reality shows I hate, and I avoid them. that's all. No reason to get all worked up, imo.

How come the only no option is "I don't have time to read"? I love to read. DO it whenever I can, but I could never be bored enough to pick up their books.

There definitely should have been another "no" option. I have time to read, but agree that there are other things I prefer to read. I enjoy the show, but I don't need to read the books.

Other. I just borrowed and read Multiple Blessings from my SIL. I did enjoy it but i can't bring myself to watch the show anymore, Kate is just so nasty, she is always screaming and she is such a b*tch to Jon.

I also have plenty of time to read, as a matter of fact I read every day, but I won't be getting this book because I have no interest in this family at all.

What is with the choices? Where isn't there just a plain "no" selection? I have plenty of time to read, but I cannot stand Kate and her constant ideas to commodify her kids. I used to love this show, and I still think the kids are sweethearts, but Kate seems to be on a quest to find new ways to make a sale.

i love the gosslin family. but soemtimes i get annoyed with the way the older girls cry. i also get sick of kate yelling all the time. i read the book and overall, they are good people. just my opinion!

AMEN, luckyme! as someone from their original hometown, i'm annoyed with the hoopla. and their trick-or-treating with a list of items that they needed. or full page newspaper ad looking for handouts.

I am not buying the book, but not because I don't have time to read. In fact, I have tons of time during my commute to and from work to read, but I won't be reading their book. I love Jon and Kate, but I think I get enough from the show.

I checked out Multiple Blessings from the library and read it. I am not sure if I will read the other one. The book I read did give me more insight into what they went through before the 6 were born.

i voted no because i will not be buying the book...not because "i don't have time to read". this book is just not for me, i am the mother of one, so i don't think i will relate.
