It is a joint.
He's known for smoking pot, and going out drinking and presumably, during Kate's b'day (sure this last part is from tabloid), he and his gf, Deanna spent it together smoking pot and getting drunk while on that skiing trip (don't worry, I read that they didn't drive, instead they had a room at a motel or something).
I'm not surprised that the wifey won't be trying to work it out with him anytime soon LOL.
Yea, I know she's a huge b!tch, but still though, if it were me, that'd be my decision too.
This guy is clearly going through some sort of mid-life crisis. He pierced both of his ears, is smoking what looks to be like pot, wearing Ed Hardy, and dating girls in their early twenties. He needs to get a grip.
