Strollin': Baby Joggers

If there's one thing that new mommies are usually ready to get rid of, it's baby weight. Some are lucky as it falls off instantly without much effort while others claim breastfeeding does the trick. Still, some new mamas have to work hard to drop those pesky pounds. If running is your key to success, a jogging stroller may be what mama should order.

After reviewing some travel systems and lightweight strollers, I'll be giving you my thoughts on a few athletic strollers this week. Stay tuned!

I am a *huge* fan of my Phil and Ted. It is a great jogger and easily manuverable indoors as well as out since the front wheel pivots and the second seat is behind and just under the primary. We have logged many miles on it already and it still looks great. The $400 price tag was hard to swallow but it does pretty much everything I could want.

I have a Jeep jogging stroller that I LOVE!! It has a swivel front wheel, which I find more convenient for running/walking. It was about half the price of a BOB and accommodates an infant seat. Serious joggers may want to look at other brands but for my (and, let's admit it, most others!) uses, it's great.

Be sure to review the Dreamer Design Rebound. Everyone is all about BOB, but honestly Dreamer is excellent, cheaper than BOB, and has an awesome sun canopy, which is what sold us. But it's a fixed wheel, so best for serious runners. I'm contemplating getting a cheap non-fixed wheel for walks, but for running it's great.

you need not look further than the one that you have featured..the BOB is the BEST RUNNER EVER! i can not say enough about this stroller..so lightweight and turns on a dime. my daughter loves it! every morning after breakfast we go for a run, i usually stop on the way home at the park so she can swing and there have been times when she just won't get out and wants to keep running... I spent loads of money on two strollers (i also have a bugaboo) and wish i had just bought this one...the bugaboo stays in the car, i use the BOB way more often!
