Jessica Alba Talks to Anderson Cooper About Motherhood

It's Mother's Day weekend and the talk show hosts are pulling out all the stops to remind us (and hopefully our husbands) just how amazing we moms are. Over on Anderson, the host and his own mother Gloria Vanderbilt surprised Jessica Alba and her mom with a sweet video message from the actress and healthy living advocate's husband and kids, Honor, 3, and Haven, 8 months, whom she hadn't seen in five days.

During the conversation about Jessica's new eco-friendly baby care line, The Honest Company, she told Anderson that she always wanted to be a mom, saying, "I always knew I was going to be a mom, and then when I found out I was pregnant and I was going to be a mom I had this awakening that I wanted to protect my child from everything that I possibly could."
