Introducing Wedding Season on IDoSugar!

Wedding bells are here again! Today we're kicking off our second-annual wedding season bonanza on the Sugar Network! Over the next few months, the Sugar sites will be sharing all sorts of wedding ideas and tips, from fashion and beauty secrets to registry picks and party plans to advice on getting in shape for the big day. Together with our sponsor, Macy’s, we've also created a new site called IDoSugar.com, where you'll be able to find all of our great wedding content in one place.

We're kicking things off with Engagement Week, which will cover everything you need to know from the wedding proposal to budget-planning. Stay tuned all Spring for more wedding coverage, including showers, parties, wedding trends, honeymoons, and more.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!! I just recently wrote Sugar Inc. an email saying how cool it would be to have a wedding sugar site or something along those lines, and then I log on today to SEE IT'S REALLY HAPPENING!!! I'm so so excited. While I've been married for 5 years (exactly as of April 4th!!!) I still LOVE helping plan weddings for friends & family. Oh this is just such great news, THANK YOU SUGAR INC!!!! phew....mines done and over with...we were gonna have our wedding this spring actually but bumped it up to November 21 2007 :) good luck to u all just remember to stay sane and remember the most important thing is ur actual union and marriage, not the ceremony, so just CHILL! :)

ha, nicole815. I'm getting married August 9th too. The place where we're ordering the cake says it's a very popular day this year. According to Chinese tradition, the more 8's you have on a date, the better luck you will have for a long and happy marriage.

Certainly not for everyone but I have to say that the funnest most unexpected experience I've ever had at a wedding is when my high school friend proceeded to walk down the isle to the traditional wedding march and then we heard what sounded like a record scratching. Everyone let out a gasp. Well the music started again but it wasn't the wedding march. My friend picked up her skirt and boogied her way to the alter to "She's A Fine Mama Jama!" It was a riot.

YAY, i've been waiting for this to start, got engaged 6 weeks ago and have been stock piling bridal magazines for ideas. The wedding isn't until next year but this will be great help.
