Diapers Have Gone Denim Thanks to Huggies

Mama may be struggling to get back into her skinny jeans, but for a limited time her babe can wiggle his way into a fresh pair every few hours. Huggies introduced their jean diapers this morning with a fashion show and a whole lot of hoopla in NYC!

The disposable diapers look like dungarees so girls can wear them without a nappy cover under a sundress and boys can add some swagger to their crawl. Like any trendy item, the product will only be available for a limited time. If they fit your youngster's fancy, stock up! Will you be buying the diapers?

I make something similar to these - only in cloth diaper form. It seems silly to me to consider babies walking around in diapers as indecent as adults walking around in underwear. It's a totally different thing. I regularly dress my baby in just a tshirt or dress on purpose to show off her cute cloth diapers! we live where it's HOT so pants are unnecessary. At least 3x per shopping trip i get stopped by people "what a cute baby! and where did you get those diapers?" ^_^ Check out Blue Genes in my store www.mycutegenes.com

I think that if you want to have your baby wear these then good for you, and you should be able to dress them in whatever you like without being judged and abused on the internet. I personally think that they don't look a thing like daisy dukes since they are blatantly a different shape. That's like comparing men's baggy jeans to women's skinnys just because they both go to the ankle and are blue.

I am an elderly woman whose children are grown, & no grandchildren, but I think this commercial & the diaper is adorable. I loved it so much on tv & wanted to see it again. Some people shouldn't be so stuffy!!

I think they are absolutely adorable. There is so other time in our lives where we can get away with wearing silly things. My son is not an executive (yet) :), so I will be buying these and giggling at how cute and silly he looks in them. It's really no big deal...

wow. these are super ugly, and i feel like that would be really uncomforable. i definately wouldn't want my kid sporting daisy dukes to day care! love the tagline though, so funny!

I think they are adorable! I will be buying these for my daughter! I don't see what all the negativity is about. If you don't like them, say you don't like them and be done with it. There is no need to put people down because they do like them. Can't we all just get along?!

Stupid anonymous comment #19. I need to join a gym because I put a pair of shorts on my baby before letting her outside in 90 degree heat? Idiot. If Huggies really cared about its consumers, it wouldn't have spent all the production and advertising $$$$$$ on this idea in hopes of making even more $$$$$$$$$. It would have issued some really good coupons (to save you some $$) or it would have donated diapers to homeless shelters or something.

Wow.. My daughter did a runway show in union square in May for the new denim diapers. They are too cute! I let my daughter out around the yard in these today.. Get a life.. They are only for sale in june and July! It's 90 something degrees where I live. What are you going to do dress your baby in sweats all summer? What does your baby have that really needs to be fully covered besides there behind? You won't let your baby wear a diaper in the blazing heat but you'd let your daughter wear a bikini at 12,13,14 years old? You people make no sense.. I guess your baby has boobs already too right?? Moms - I think you need to join a gym or find some friends and get off the internet.

maybe if they were little swimmers, it would be ok, but yes, they look like daisy dukes, and im not ok with letting my daughter wear these, shes never in just a diaper anyways unless its at home, so why bother.......she has nice clothes, dont need her diaper to be her "fashion statement"

The picture just looks hideous because its photoshopped and not what the actual diaper looks like. I've seen them in person, and still don't like them.. but this is a pretty amateur job on the ad

There diapers...no need to have a heart attack... I think their very cute and I will be buying them for my kids....their privates are covered its not like they are naked so why make a big stink...babies should always be comfortable especially in the hot weather....Its time to grow up and look at the better side of things and its not like your kids have to wear them outside...

not that serious for ppl to be all angry about this lol! i think its adorable. my son and nephew wear them around the house and sure enough when we go out i have the "decencey" to put pants on them lol. get over yourselves ppl live a litl. there just freakin' diapers for godsake its not like the world is coming to an end because of a "denim like" diaper.

You guys are such prudes. I like them! They are different and cute. I still put pants on my son, but the little printed fly on the front makes me giggle everytime I change him. Lighten up, people. It was meant to be cute, and it is.

HATE HATE HATE them. Nothing makes me more mad than seeing a baby out in public in nothing but a diaper, this is just going to give those lazy terrible uncivilized 'moms' another reason to do that. I was working at a department store and I once checked out this young woman, she was buying a few outfits for herself but her baby was in a diaper. I was so mad I almost said, "We sell clothes for kids. Instead of blowing all that money on yourself, how about you respect your child's decency and buy some."

Lol, those are so ugly. I mean, if they were going to come out with a printed diaper, couldn't they have done a cute floral or stripes or something? The stone washed denim in diaper shape just looks so rednecky to me.

I like them and I think it'll be hilarious watching my boy crawl around in these!!! Plus Little Movers are the diapers we use anyways...

Eww, no. Somehow the pic really freaks me out...the kid looks like a robot or something and the diapers look so stupid. I would never buy them. They do look like Daisy Dukes....so strange and unnecessary.

Ick! I have a kiddo in diapers and there is no way I'd use these. They are really tacky.
