How Many Home Pregnancy Tests Did You Take?

Once I saw the double pink lines appear on my home pregnancy confirming I was expecting my first child, I took four more to be sure and then went to the doctors and had them run a test. I took two with my son. Did you trust your first test or use up multiple sticks to figure out if you were truly with child?

I took 3. The first two were only just visible so I took a 3rd to make sure and the line was much darker. On the third the pregnant line came up straight away...much quicker than the control line.

for the first baby i took one and when i was pregnant with my second i took about three tests because i thought it wasnt accurate

4! Haha...The 1st I took, just to be funny. You see, my period hadn't been regular in a few months, so I didn't think anything of it. I figured, like Murphy's law, if I take a HPT, inevitably, my period will show up 1 hour later. The timing for me to be PG made it seem impossible, but sure enough, I glance over to see a VERY dark positive! I couldn't believe it so I took a FRER and that came up positive too. I tested again 2 days later, just to see it again and then 1 week later. I'm 6-7 weeks pregnant right now!

I took two per pregnancy. We saved them all,even the two from a miscarriage. I like to have them, they were used on the greatest days of my life.

I took only one - I was already 2 weeks late and fairly sure. And the doctors visit (and heartbeat!! that soon?) today confirmed it. woohoo (I had no idea I would get an ultrasound this early!!) I made my husband buy the pregnancy test!! He was totally embarrassed - but I told him if I bought it, everyone at the store would know I was buying it for ME but if he bought it everyone would know he WASN'T buying it for him. Plus, it's not like I had ever bought one before so I thought we shoudl start out even!

one and then I went to the doctor (that was yesterday) and he confirm it and yes Im pregnant!!!!

With my first son, I took two to be sure. However, with my second son, I took about seven (yes, seven) because I couldn't fathom it. My kids are nine years apart (my hubby and I took a loooong break between them - kids cost $$$, you know! lol)

For my first pregnancy I took about 4 before going to my OB to "offically" confirm it this time around I bought a two pack and used them both lol.

One test, then off to the doctor. One time, the doctor didn't even run a second test, telling me that the drugstore ones were accurate enough. Anybody need cheap tests? I just saw pregnancy tests at my local Dollar Store!!

six. we bought three two packs of various tests. lol. drank a lot of water that day...

First pregnancy just one. Second was 3. This time I started testing at 9 DPO (when I got the first- though faint- BFP.) The next day I used 4 more on 4 brands, then I tested once a day every day for the next week watching that line get darker (though for the record I was using internet strips.) I discovered with a myriad of OPKs that I like to pee on sticks.

2 with my first and 3 with my second. With the second, I think I must have tested pretty early because the first test came back positive, but then I took another one a little later and it was negative. I waited another day and sure enough, positive.

I took two. I had a coupon for the two pack ept. The first one I took while at work because I was anxious and couldnt believe I was pregenant. I ran out of the bathroom to my female co-workers and cried "guess whos pregnant". Then I took the 2nd one when I came home from work before I even hugged my husband. I was sitting in the bathroom with the same feeling I had at work. So I ran out and told him. I knew I could be pregnant but finding out for sure really wowed me. Yay to walmart and their sale and my coupon. Haha

With my first I took 3 total. With the first one, one of the lines wasn't very pink. So I figured nope not pregnant. 5 weeks later I had all the symptoms so I took one again and it took less than a minute to confirm why I felt like crap, then they make you take one at the Dr's to be sure. With the second one I had to take 2 at home tests, the first one, a crappy First Response test, said I wasn't, so I waited a week and went with my good ol' off brand stick, then of course again at the Dr's.

I didn't take any. I went to the Dr for a different issue and he did a pregnancy test there and I found out then. It never crossed my mind that I was pregnant.

I took 2 tests. The first, which I took at night, had one dark pink line and there was a second very faded line. So I waited until the morning, when they say the hormones are stronger, and I took a second test to confirm. The second line was still faded, but much stronger this time.
