We met in 5th grade. I hated him at first. I was shy and he was the bad boy of the class. He called me a sl*t on the playground during kickball because I scored. Language he learned from his two horrible older brothers. But that didn't last long. We became great friends and our families actually did things together all the time. We dated a few times through middle school (kiddie love)then twice in HS and 3 time a charm......a year after graduation got back together and we've been together 11 years now.

I actually met my hubby slightly over 2yrs ago on Myspace. Not the most ideal I know. But I got really lucky. I was fresh out of a crappy marriage and he had just gotten out of a really long relationship. He said he was just browsing around bored one day and came across my picture. He just sent a friendly note saying "hi. cute smile. nice glasses". He says he never expected me to say hi back. I only wanted to be friends and held to it for a couple of months after meeting. But I knew I had to have him forever. Even after we got engaged we said we would still have seperate places until after the wedding, well he stayed over a couple of times and then never left. I wouldn't let him. We just knew. It's been a quick 2yrs. We bought a house last Feb, got married in June (we were engaged for a year) and had a baby in Oct. :) I can honestly say that I've never been happier in my life and everyday just seems to get better. :)

I met my husband during a weekend trip to Paris. I was 23 and living in London at the time. He was 30 and also on a weekend trip to Paris with is Air force unit (He's German and in the German Air force). Anyway, we chatted in a cafe for a while; I didn't think much of it until he emailed me birthday greetings a couple of weeks later and the rest is history!We're now living in DC and have an 18 month old daughter - life couldn't be better. :-)(Funny thing is, we haven't been back to Paris since.)

I met my husband when I was 15.He was actually a crush of my friend at the time,they ended up dating,but it didn't work out for them because she was a little crazy in the head lol.We ended up hooking up one night a few months later,and knew we both had too much on our plate,so decided to stay just friends.We didn't talk for about a year but when he came back into my life we decided to give things a try,we've been together ever since,and now we have a 10 month old bundle of joy!

Met my man when he trained me as a camera operator on a morning newscast. He said he told his friend, the director, he thought I was "slow" and wasn't sure I could "hack it". I later proved myself to be one of the best camera ops they'd ever had (after him of course). We really connected when we would hang out on our 9am "lunch breaks". There's more to the story, but I tried to keep it short & sweet.

I met my husband when I was 15 and he was 18. He was my friends' childhood friend. He had just graduated and was moving to San Francisco for college. I was obviously still in high school. He lived there for 3 years. In the meantime, I pursued my own education. When he was home we spent every second together and I visited him. It was beyond difficult, but well worth it. In 2001, he moved back here, a year later we moved in together, 4 years later we got married, then we had the baby and now here we are. I can honestly say that I love him more now than I ever have...and I didn't really think that was possible.

My husband and I met at work. I was doing my student teaching and working for the state. He was the tech guy. I pursued him for over a year, saving my files for when he came down to get water (next to my filing cabinet). I started drinking coffee (on a much more regular basis) so I could get included in the coffee run he did everyday. All the while he was wishing for someone like me, not realizing that I was not just being overly friendly but actually trying to get him to ask me out. My last attempt was an email "Hey, if you're bored this weekend give me a call." Well, he finally called "hey it [hubby] Just wanted to let you know I was bored." Well that was it, instant love. We went out to burritos and never looked back. When you know you just know. I don't think I ever tried so hard to get someone to notice me but I knew in my heart he was my man.

Ok, I met my kids father at 16...in high school. We married at 18 and had our first at 19 and our 2nd at 21. Divorced at 21 also. We were just too young...well, HE was. I was fine with being married and a mom. He still wanted to party and drink with his friends. But when we met...We went to a Christian school and the beginning of every school year you are invited to a "retreat". Some kids go, some dont. The ones that don't go are stuck starting school and the ones that go are swimming and singing around a campfire getting to know each other, and having bible study too. I went on the retreat and when we got back it was about dismissal time for the ones who had stayed behind. A couple friends who hadn't gone came out and we said hello and hugged each other and etc...and then I saw this blonde haired guy walk down the stairs. Or swagger down the stairs and across the parking lot. I was immediately attracted. So, my friend and I went over to him and asked him why he didn't go on the retreat and he said...."Because I didn't want to"...in a very matter of fact way.I think it clicked in my head right then that he was gonna be a "bad boy rebel" and I had to have him. About 2 months later he asked me out....and the rest is history.

I met my husband when I was a waitress at *cringe for both of us* Hooters (actually at that time I was hostessing because I was only 17). He's quite a bit older than I am, but we hit it off instantly. It sent waves through my high school because he was the morning show host on a very popular radio station. People snickered but we are married with kids, best friends, and couldn't be happier or more devoted to our family.

I met my husband online when I was 24. :oops: We were talking about BMWs in a forum and discovered that we had so much in common. He was working in Kosovo at the time. We met in NYC a few months later and it felt like we had always been together. He came back to North America a month later because he missed me too much, and the following month I went to Europe. We've been together non-stop ever since. He quit his job to move to Canada while I finished my studies. We got married and are now moving to Europe.

I met my (future) baby daddy in my high school history class. I was 15.5 and he was 16. I had taken driver's ed the previous summer and his dad was the teacher. It was my first time going to that school and well his dad went home and told Joshua about this new girl in his class that he thought Josh would like. Well, that following fall we were in World History class together (which his dad also taught). And I didn't know that Josh was the teacher's son. Well, his dad was giving a preview of what we would be learning in history class and he mentioned Lenin (and the Russian Revolution). Well Josh (being the sarcastic person he is) asked his dad "Who's Lenin" (also his dad had spent a year in Russia studying and so Josh was making a joke b/c obviously he knew who Lenin was!). I didn't know that he was joking so I turned around and proceeded to tell him all about Lenin and the Russian Revolution! That turned out to be a little embarrassing later on lol... Well, I asked for his phone number about a week or two later and we've been together ever since! (5.5 years!!) Oh and I'm in school to be a history teacher now ;)

I met my husband when I was 28 and took over his job when he was promoted. I was engaged at the time and no sparks flew. It wasn't until after my engagement ended that we became friends. I talked to him about a coworker he had a crush on and some other really tough stuff he was going through. Then at a work happy hour we became inseparable. It was all very quick and unexpected and lovely. He just ran into a former boss from 7 years ago who couldn't believe we now have 3 kids!! Sometimes I laugh at how things work out!

I also met my husband when I was sixteen. We went to high school together and were assigned to the same homeroom. Back then he had long hair and wore jimmy hendrix t-shirts. My how things have changed! We dated for 3 months in high school, broke up but remained really close friends. After high school we lost track of each other for 7 years until just after midnight New Years 2003 when he spotted be outside of a club and chased me down the street. We've been inseperable ever since and were married in December of 2006.

Everyone jokes that my preppiness really rubbed off on him and that it's good I got him young!
