I'll be completely honest here.. my husband begged me for 4 years to have a baby and I finally gave in. We ended up with the most well-behaved daughter with the best personality in the world. She's amazing! Unfortunately, my husband is having a crisis right now where he's decided that partying constantly is more important, and is willing to give us up for it. I'm not sure if this is a direct result of her, but it certainly wasn't the way he said things would go a few months ago when I was pregnant. Anyway, I don't regret it at all. My daughter is amazing :)

I definitely know that having a baby puts a strain on your marriage. I had a c-section, so depending more on my husband right away after our son was born,tested my patience level a great deal. I wanted to be the first to do a lot with him, but my husband ended up being Mr. Mom for the first two weeks and I felt helpless and out-of-control, which I hate. Also, just simple things like a feeding schedule, naps, etc. are hard to settle on when two people are strongly opiniated. We really had to sit down, talk, and learn to compromise on everything. Little things my husband would do would irritate me, like taking baby clothes out of the dryer and throwing them on our bed to fold, which resulted in semi-damp, wrinkled clothes. I had to re-dry, and fold right away as they are taken out, which could have been resolved if my husband only would take his time and think. I have learned to be more relaxed, more easy going, and thankful that my husband is as hands on as he is. He is amazing and I'm proud of the teamwork we accomplish with our Riley.
