As a reality show star turned designer, new mom Nicole Richie's life is anything but simple. The woman who strutted around in heels until she was nine months pregnant with lil Harlow wants other expectant ladies to feel just as great in what will be a comprehensive maternity line. To learn about the designs, read more.
She dished about the specifics of her styles that debut later this year to Women's Wear Daily. The piece said:
"My line will be about making women look and feel good at a really emotional time. It's about showing your best self, not your tired, worn-down self. Guys don't go through that, they just don't understand," she said.
Would you buy the celebutant's clothing?

I think there's already plenty of fabulous, super expensive designer maternity clothes, so unless it's like SJP's Bitten for pregnant women, I don't see the need or the attraction. Plus it's a little concerning because I bet she's got a really young fan base...
1I probably would, provided its not too expensive. I think Nicole has great style and she looked fabulous throughout her pregnancy.
2Though she looked fabulous, how healthy is it for the baby for the babymama to remain a size 0 throught the pregnancy.
3I don't like her and I didn't think she dressed that well during her pregnancy. In fact I'm not crazy about her style in general.
4Wow at first I thought this might be an April Fool's Joke, but it's really not a bad idea.
5hhmm don´t know, and probably will be expensive. what does she know about designing anyway?
6I'm loving her shoes!
7If I was pregnant, and it's not ridiculously expensive then I would definitely consider it. of course I'd have to see it first to make a final decision.
8She looks fabulous.
9C'mon! Why do we have to get clothes, perfume and jewelry just because they are celebrities. What a crock.
10I would love it if someone could design some "in between" clothes. Where they could be worn as you are newly pregnant and not able to zip your jeans but not ready for giant maternity pants- then could be worn post baby as you are losing your weight.
11Macgirl... sounds like you need the Bella Band... It helped me get through that awkward "I'm not getting fat, I'm pregnant" phase" Totally great to extend the life of your existing wardrobe.
12I would absolutely buy nicole richie's maternity line. I wish it were in stores now as i am due in June and am pretty sure i won't get to take advantage of looking as cute as she did while she was prego!
