Has Balthazar Getty, Father of Four, Taken His Affair Too Far?

Husbands and wives fall out of love all the time, but the way they feel about their children doesn't change. Has Balthazar Getty, father of four, taken his affair with Sienna Miller too far considering that he has children old enough to witness his antics? The actor married his wife Rosetta in 2000 and they have four kids between the ages of 8 and 10 months— Cassius, Grace, Violet and June.

That's his wife...and he cheated with that average nasty Sienna...what a loser. I too, hope the kids can live down the shame of his sorry excuse of a man.

I can't help but wonder if the fact that Getty is worth billions doesn't play a role in Sienna's interest (in addition to the free publicity, of course). I just read somewhere that Rosetta is NOT going to file for divorce because if he files instead of her then she stands to get more money for her children in the divorce settlement (not sure how the law works in the state where they live, though). I can't remember where I read that, but the same source said Getty's family is behind Rosetta and really want her and the children protected in every way possible, including financially.

~Momross2 hit it right on the head. I feel the same. I would be so embarrassed be this affair if that were my dad. Just think the younger ones will be able to google it when they get older and will get teased by it. I hadn't thought about being embarassed by the mom2. Sienna should stop she has been through it maybe she needs to grown up. I just read an old article on her from Vogue sept. 07 were she says, "I'm craving civility in my romantic life. I'm not in the mood for one-night stands, even though it's summer and I should be." "If I'm in a relationship, I want it to be grouded and solid. I see my sister, and she has this wonderful marriage and a wonderful husband." Not to keep bad-mouthing Sienaa because it takes 2 to tango, but I wonder what her sister has said to her after knowing about her affair.

Sienna is SUCH a homewrecker. Doesn't anyone remember how she got with Jude Law to begin with? When he was STILL MARRIED to his wife and mother of his three(?) children! Sienna destroyed that marriage, got engaged to Jude who then cheated on her with the fugly nanny, and now she's destroying another man's family. I know you shouldn't judge people you don't know, but I loathe her.

Sienna & Jude weren't married. I think it's sad but I've read they were seperated...so really is it all that bad? They weren't together so it's not really an affair. It's sad that they are making a huge display but if they weren't public figures then they'd be like any other couple...

i think that's really silly saying his private life has nothing to do with his children, that's the 'category' that children come under.... they are part of his private life, and this will effect them, seeing as he wont be living with them anymore.... i think he's selfish and if any of us were in his children's or wife's shoes we'd be pretty angry at how he is going about this.

I am just so disgusted by their behaviour. I don't know if there was a separation prior to him hooking up or at least being irresponsible enough to make their relationship so public, but he has shown no respect or even regard for his wife of 8 years and his 4 children. What really irks me is that he follows them to Italy with his Sluttienna when Rosetta took her children out of the country-probably to spare some of the attention. Maybe he wanted to be near the kids- but I would seriously hurt her for being there and for flaunting herself like that. I hope the children are spared the taunting and embarrassment as much as possible. Did he ever stop and think at how his kids would feel about him when they found out? He obviously doesn't care about what his wife or the public think, but did he take a moment to think that his kids would be so disappointed and let down by their father who did this to their family? All in the moment without thinking about any consequences, immediate or long-term. Pitiful example of a father.

seriously, who said his private life has nothing to do with his children?? that's really really scary to me to think people believe that.. sad that his lack of judgment, or whatever this is will always be something his children will be able to google or look up.. an affair is an affair, but even beyond that, separated, or not, whatever.. rosa is the mother of his children, his lack of respect for her is disgusting and sets an incredible poor example for his children.. hope he enjoyed his little fling, because it's going to have a lifetime of repercussions with his family. He really lowered the bar on being an example to his daughters of what to look for in a man when they are older.

Rosetta, by all means....take....everything! Keep Sluttienna's mangy paws off of it. She'll get bored soon, anyway, and be sitting on another married man's lap before long (Sean Penn's marriage didn't end as planned, so you've got another shot at that one, Sluttienna...PDiddy might be up for it again, too)

Yup, both just totally worthless trash.... and now that's how everybody is going to remember them. Hope this new relationship was worth it when it ends in a couple of months.

It's been awhile since a married celebrity has demonstrated such tackless and disgusting behaviour. Rosetta will need all the strength she can get to get through this revolting display and make him pay BIG TIME! She's the Mother and the Father now, and at a time when she's got to be experiencing an all time low, she still has her children to look after. Getty is such a scum-bag that I can hardly stand thinking about it. Does he not care about his children at all???? Sienna is just as bad, she must have a heart of stone not to care about his children either.

As painful as this is for her and the kids, she is better off without him. He's a scumbag and I hope he realizes what a fool he is after SM tires of him as well.
