Gwyneth Paltrow Says Her Daughter Has Multiple Accents

Gwyneth Paltrow stopped by Live With Regis and Kelly today and revealed her daughter Apple has two very distinct ways of speaking: one American and one British. Gwyneth, who is raising her children in London with husband Chris Martin, said Apple speaks with an American accent when she's asking Gwyneth for a snack, but switches to her British accent and calls Gwyneth "mummy" when friends are around. Gwyneth also shared that London schools are "tough!"

She's right about the school. My kids are at the same school as Gwyneth's kids and it's pretty tough - The start learning to read and write in the Nursery when the kids are 3 and they are expected to read fluently at 5!

I think it would be so cool to be able to switch between accents so easily. If I were Apple, I would definitely use it to my advantage!

Gwennie does look good! I think that her comment about London schools is off the mark though (I did not hear the interview, I'm only going on this post). We lived in a, erm, not as nice an area as Gwyneth Paltrow can afford and the schools there weren't as tough as the ones where we are now (in Texas). They were rough, but not tough, if that makes sense? Had we stayed in London, we were going to have to do a private school - and those probably are MUCH tougher!
