A while back I asked how soon you felt your baby kick. Last week I was literally tickled with pleasure when I felt my baby–to–be rocking around the womb.

Many pregnant women start to feel the woes of conception from the get–go with bouts of morning sickness. I have not experienced the misery of morning sickness which is a blessing because I have avoided praying to the porcelain gods and a curse as I don't feel fully pregnant until the baby starts making itself known with jabs to my abdomen.

As I make my way through the 18th week, I look forward to the acrobats that will come from within my belly.

At 32 weeks, the morning kicks are almost routine. I know that I will miss them when they are gone, but in exchange I'll get to hold our little girl. I find that I run late in the morning just so that I can get a viewing of just a couple more kicks before I have to hide my belly in maternity wear. I was in a meeting last night when our baby rearranged herself and it became very evident to everyone in the room. She was sitting straight up and down...the meeting stopped (I know HOW UNPROFESSIONAL) so that we could all just watch her move around...and I could breath again.

Well I recently (last week in my 21st week) started both feeling the karate chops of my baby and started showing. I haven't been hit with the praying to porcelean God, thankfully, but I am starting to be hit with tears everytime I see something adorable, funny, or just plain silly. So you can imagine, the first few times I felt my baby poking back at me my face was soaked with tears. So now at work, when I feel like there is a karate lesson going on in my stomach and just today, I actually saw my stomach move, I started crying like a little girl who opens their xmas present and see that it was the very exact thing that she has been waiting for all year long. It is the most thrilling experience ever!

I am 20 weeks. I love being able to feel the baby. You go through the first few months just hoping everything is okay. Once you can feel the baby, it is like the baby just giving you a little extra reassurance.

I LOVE it! Like Jimmalou1978, this is my last one so I am trying to enjoy every second of it! My girl moves constantly & it is so awesome, sometimes my husband will playfully pinch my belly & she'll kick him right back & they go back & forth like that for 5 minutes or so, it's the coolest thing. It's also a nice reminder/indicator that everything's okay in there.

When you're not pregnant it is VERY hard to imagine. Even now I am amazed that having something move inside of me - independent of what I am doing- has become normal. Although honestly at times I feel like I'm auditioning for a part on Alien! Especially when you can actaully see this little knobs (possibly feet, hands or elbows) moving back and forth...

I am 22 weeks tomorrow and my baby has been kicking up a storm. I love feeling him move around, it reminds me that he is ok. I will say that he likes to "play" at night now, last night I woke up at 1:30am (to pee)and he thought it was play time, for the next hour or so he kicked and flipped around. It was really cute but I was so tired, I just wanted to go back to sleep!

it is so strange to me to have something moving inside... i am not a parent, and i have a hard time even imagining these things.

Wow, I agree with GlowingMoon. I am not a parent (yet) and I am completely amazed reading these posts. I truly cannot even imagine being pregnant.....

I'm 33 weeks and I love it. It's completely amazing. Sure I've had the occasionally foot in my diaphram - not comfortable. But it's fun to see whaat he responds to - I've decided he's a Miles Davis fan.

Yes, esp in the beginning when it is like somersaults and such. Towards the end when it was full on elbows and feet poking it kinda hurt, but it was still pretty sweet. :)

I enjoyed it at first, but as I'm nearing the end it isn't as fun as it once was. Especially those hard kicks to the ribs, the head to my crotch, the sudden inability to breathe, and being able to feel the skin stretch. Just isn't pleasant, but as someone said I remind myself it's an indication he's healthy.

I loved it! How can I describe the feeling? To me it felt like when a butterfly flutters across your face at first and later it felt like my kids were wrestling inside! With both my pregnancies, my kids were such strong kickers!

When I felt my baby move for the 1st time it was so unreal, I loved it though - I use to tap where she would tap and she would tap back sometimes :) I can't wait for to feel my new baby move :D

Now it's become a "which side is she on today"? It gets tiring, but I just have to remind myself that her being so active is a sign that she's healthy! If she ever takes a break, I freak and try to get her to move! This is my last pregnancy, so I'm trying to enjoy every minute. I'm 29 weeks, and will have a C-section at 38 weeks. I don't have much time left to feel her on the inside.

That was my absolute favorite thing about being pregnant. I loved feeling the kicks and turns and watching my belly turn into a wave pool at times! Its the thing I miss most about it.

I can't wait! I'm 17 weeks and like you, no morning sickness, don't really look pregnant, so actually feeling the flutters will probably really make it hit home!

I absolutely adore it. When I get home from work I just sit on the couch and watch him move around in there. When I feel the bigger movements like a roll or can almost massage a little body part, I get giddy and giggle - it's a happiness I'd never experienced before my pregnancy. As I head into the home stretch I just try and imagine having him in my arms instead of my tummy! Congrats mamas! This is a life changing miracle.
