The entire Jolie-Pitt clan has been spotted everywhere from New Orleans, Paris, Scotland, and beyond. Whether you're covering the globe with a large family or just spending the weekend at grandma's house, some of the same advice is applicable.
Tips For Traveling With a Large Family:
- Devise a buddy system. Make sure that everyone in your group is responsible for the whereabouts of their "partner" at all times. Pair big kids with little kids.
- Instead of a hotel, rent a house or villa so that you can have some space to spread out and still accommodate a variety of bedtimes.
- Divide and conquer. If there's a fun museum or attraction that the older kids would enjoy but would bore the little ones, split up for the afternoon and reconvene at mealtime. Kids with lots of siblings are likely to enjoy some one-on-one or "small group" time for a change.
