Last week, it rained buckets in San Francisco. My kids had a lil cabin fever since they are used to spending a good portion of each day outdoors, so we grabbed a pile of blankets and ordered Hairspray from Comcast.

More than an entertaining musical with a star studded cast, the movie provided some much needed down time for me and my husband and tired our kids out.

My son and daughter could not stop dancing, completely enthused by the on screen moves and lively tunes. And, beyond being just a fun film, the blockbuster teaches children about the civil rights movement.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, educational and easy way to entertain the entire fam, this flick fits the bill.
