The maternal or paternal itch! Lots of people talk about a woman's biological clock, but a man's inclination to become a father can be just as strong. Last night on How I Met Your Mother, Marshall was seeing babies in the future before Lily. How did family planning shake out in your household?

I think i popped out of the womb domestically inclined so, me first, but it was something we talked about first before anyone did any pushing. He is 7 years older then me though,and didn't want to be too old before he had kids, which worked well for me becuase I wanted to be in my early 20's anyway.

I always wanted children, and it was me who mentioned it first. I never really pushed, but just brought certian facts to light. We weren't sure if we could have children because of some medical history, and because I have older sisters who already had older kids I mentioned I'd really like to have my children before I became a Great Aunt. We had our 1st just before I turned 23 and my husband turned 29.

This sounds terrible, but I really didn't want children! My husband was the one who really pushed for us to have one. Don't get me wrong - I cannot imagine my life without my daughter, she is the most precious treasure in the world and I would never ever ever want my pre-baby life back, but until I had her, I was more the "fun aunt" type than the mumsy-type.
