Massage is absolutely used to treat pink eye. One goal of any treatment is to increase blood flow to the eye, and a gentle massage is great for that. While it "tends to be used" for a clogged duct, it's still a perfectly valid treatment for pink eye in combination with other things. FYI, breastmilk is a great alternative to antibiotic drops, if you're lactating.
