We swear by something called Ihle's Paste - sometimes it's in the baby aisle and sometimes it's in the first aid aisle (so you might want to ask your pharmacist if they carry it). Worked like a charm on our very rashy daughter, AND...it's unscented. Why are manufacturers putting irritants like scent in rash creams, anyway?!

We had to buy Mucinex, or whatever it's called, for our daughter when she got a yeast rash. The best advice is to give your child some air-time. We would call it 'nudie-pudie' time and my girl still runs around naked saying "Nudie pudie, nudie pudie". We used disposables, and were so fortunate, as she only had one bad case of diaper rash, and rarely ever got even a mild one.

I swear by Boudreaux Butt Paste. It smells good, spreads easy, and is WAY more effective than any other creams. The best diaper-rash advice I ever received was from a pharmacist. My daughter had what I now know was a yeast rash (although she wasn't on antibiotics, per the quiz above). At a loss for how to get rid of it and too poor to see a doctor, I asked the pharmacist, who recommended Vagisil. It was decidedly awkward, but it WORKED.
