As a parent I've come to terms with the fact that my little ones will frequently bring tears to my eyes. I'm a crybaby and I'm okay with it. I had the tissue ready for when she went off to preschool or said momma for the first time, but some events brought on the waterworks without warning. I was the only mom who cried at my oldest son's preschool graduation ceremony! I was embarassed, plus we were also about to move away from a base I had grown to love very much. I have cried more at my oldest son's first's than my other 2 sons things. Not sure why. I cry watching "Extreme Home Makeover" too everytime!!

lol, We are working on potty training with my daughter right now, and a few days ago she went potty absolutely on her own, without any of us in the room encouraging her or helping her. It's a really huge step for her, she would go on the potty but it was still reluctant and we aren't pressuring her, so I was really excited and proud and I definitely teared up.
