Etsy Holiday Shopping Tips

Little Goodall was created in the Fall of 2010 by a stay-at-home mom in North Texas who was frustrated at her 2-year-old's refusal to wear the hoods on his coats. Searching for a creative solution, she designed and made a felt lion coat to inspire him to put his hood up in the cold. Friends commented, an Etsy shop was created, and Little Goodall was born!

• Favorite Holiday Traditions: "My family takes a horse-drawn-carriage ride through our town's historic district to see the Christmas lights and decorations. We take along a thermos of hot chocolate and an apple for the horse — it is truly magical!"
• Shopping For the Child Who Has It All: "I try to choose something simple that can be attached to a fun experience for the both of us. A pair of ice skates and a trip to a rink, a pretty picnic basket and an afternoon at a botanical garden or park, or even a copy of your favorite childhood book and the time to read it together. Plastic toys are discarded soon enough, but the time you spend together will enrich your family!"
