you dont need all this plastic crap to raise a newborn. breastfeed and you dont need a breast pump. a DVD?!!? kids shouldnt even watch tv before the age of 2 it can harm their development. if you MUST have a swing or rocker, then get one, why would you need all three. invest in a better sling then a hotsling such as an ergo or manduca or ring sling and thats pretty much all you need. cloth diapers as well are a must. this looks like a top ten 'trendy' list of must haves. seems like mother hood is becoming a trend and babies are like a new handbag to these ppl... sigh... and i agree, most of them are unaffordable.
