Ecomomics: Would You Pay Full Price For Toys This Holiday?

'Tis the year for last minute shoppers? Costco lists the wooden KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse for $220 online, but my husband bought one last weekend in store for $100 less. Hot toy Kota The Triceratops seemed like a steal a week ago for $159, but now Target has slashed the dinosaur's price to $99. With all these drastic price reductions, would you ever pay original price?

ive noticed almost everything is more exspensive online, espeacially sams and costco. they were offering the kitchen set my mil got my daughter for a hundred dollars more then it was in the store, and thats not including shipping.

I also went with other because I think it is fine to pay full price, especially if the gift isn't too expensive. It is always worth looking online for the same gift on sale, but as long as the gift isn't too expensive to begin with, or worth getting not just because it is the popular toy this year, go for it!

yeah foe $100 off :woohoo: i only paid full price for one item this year (so far, lol). it was something i had seen at costco months ago and said "i'll come back for it". of course it was gone. i was just happy to get it because my daughter REALLY wanted it.

Other, I guess. I wouldn't wait until the week before Christmas to see if it went on sale because if I lost the item, I'd have to scramble for something else they'd love. But I don't run out in June and buy the item at full price either. If I get on sale, great. If not, not a huge deal. The big item stuff my kids wants this year don't go on sale anyway.

We only paid full price for one item for our daughter's Christmas, it was still less than $100. This is the first Christmas that my husband and I are doing well and are able to spend extra this holiday, so why not, I'm sure we helped the economy!
