Ecotot: Earthy Beginnings

Combine music and nature and what do you get, beyond beautiful designs? An eco-friendly line of clothing lil ones will love. Founded and designed by Peruvian mama and musician Guissell Torres, Earthy Beginnings uses Torres's two passions to create the inspiring shirts featuring some of nature's most precious animals — pandas, parakeets, and polar bears — and kids' favorite instruments. Made from 100 percent certified organic cotton in a sweatshop-free environment, the endangered species line of tees include brief information about each animal on the back of the shirt in an effort to raise awareness about the creatures. Earthy Beginnings also donates 10 percent of sales to the IUCN to support its efforts to save animals.
