People often choose to have more than one child in hopes of giving their children lifelong playmates. When they are tiny people, siblings typically get along well enough. As they grow older, rivalries develop and annoyances are voiced, but still a bond keeps them close and dear to each other. On the "Siblings" episode of The Middle, Frankie tries to force her sons and daughter to bond with each other. In the end, she discovers that she may lack the control over the situation but that they will connect on their own terms.
Do you force family togetherness in hopes of tight bonds?
