"Supplement your take-out meals with healthy options from your own fridge and avoid ordering unhealthy extras. I order a grain when it’s part of the dish, like brown rice with my tofu and stir fries, but I usually skip the refined bread. I add grains to my diet from cereals and crackers at other meals and, in addition, I eat nuts and fruit. When ordering delivery or grabbing take-out, try rounding-out these meals by incorporating other food you have on hand. In the winter, I enjoy dried apricots, prunes, clementines, and grapefruit and fresh fruit or vegetables from the Farmer’s Market."
