Did Your Spouse Talk to Your Growing Belly?

Rocker Pete Wentz struck up a conversation with his unborn baby. According to People, the expectant dad has been giving his wife, Ashlee Simpson's belly some lip service. The Fall Out Boy said:

"I talk to it all the time," he told People Saturday at the Ultimate Fighting Championship 86 afterparty in Las Vegas. "The Expectant Father tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father's voice isn't familiar unless you talk to it, so I talk to it all the time."

Yes.But it's kind of silly to say the father's voice isn't familiar unless he talks to the baby. Whether my husband's talking to me or to the belly, his voice is heard the same.

Yes it was so precious. He talked to her constantly and most of the time she would respond to the sound of his voice.He would also put his hand on my belly to feel her when she'd start moving around.....

he never talked to my belly, he just grew a belly along with me.

At first, I know my man felt funny talking to my belly. Then later in my pregnancy he admitted that at night...while I was sleeping...he used to stay awake just to feel the baby move. Now I tease him and my son that they had "secret meetings" while I was sleeping. I just thought that was so sweet.
