Did Kate and Lance Bring Their Kids into the Mix Too Soon?

It looks like the Hudson, Robinson and Armstrong clans were one big happy family on Father's Day as they met for brunch in New York City. Kate and Lance are said to have been dating for a couple of months and it seems they are comfortable having their children hang out with each other. The actress brought her main man, Ryder, 4, and the athlete had his son, Luke, 8, and twin daughters, Isabelle and Grace, 6, in tow. Is having one's children meet a love interest and/or their offspring so soon in a relationship appropriate or awkward?

its definitely awkward - seeing that kate hasn't really stayed with a guy very long - she should keep her son out of the picture until there's more of a commitment. i understand that it's sooo easy to fall for someone and move things really quickly - but things change once you have a child to worry about.

Sorta hard to be famous and not have the kids not see pics of you and your SO on a cover somewhere. Might as well introduce them in person. If it works for them, so be it.

I'm guessing that with them both being such good friends with Matthew McConaughy, the kids have already met anyway. Who knows how long they've really been dating, if their kids have been friends for a long time, etc.

Too early, kids get attached, and kids don't always express things. But if they break up, the kid will realize that person isn't around like they were, and thats when the kids will express thoughts about it.

They probably having been dating for a while and their just know making it public. If Ryder is already comfortable with Lance then they have most likely been together for a while. If they get engaged next week according to some of you the kids should just now be meeting. NOPE! To me bring the kids in sooner rather than later cause if its for real you want the kids to feel comfortable with everybody!
