Every now and again, a diaper disaster occurs. A mother will find herself with a deplorably stinky diaper, but no fresh ones to replace it. It happened to me once on an airplane. I took the diaper bag to the tiny bathroom with the malodorous tot and after cleaning her bum, realized the diapers were packed in my other bag which was in the overhead 20 rows away. Sweating, I took a small tree's worth of paper towels and heavily padded my daughter's lower region hoping to make it last for a little while. How I wished for my other bag or some duct tape then.

Actual cloth diapers, that I would always have cause they work better than a burp cloth, she was wearing bloomers so I stuck those back on hoping that would hold till I was able to pick some up. I love the poop scoop!

my son had big poop and i realized as i was changing him, that there were no diapers in the bag. i scooped out the poop, lined the diaper w/ paper towels, and closed him back up...
My daughter pooped when we were out having dinner with my father-in-law (who is always lecturing me and making me nervous). I had grabbed the wrong bag and my daughter had a bad diaper rash. So, I took my daughter into the bathroom, washed her off, and wrapped her in paper towels. I then asked him if we could stop by babies-r-us for a special diaper cream they carry. While he was distracted looking at toys, I grabbed a pack of diapers, and wipes and ran to the bathroom to change her. The cashier did eyeball me when she saw the open diapers but I smiled at her and got out without Pop seeing or knowing anything and having an opportunity to lecture me.

My 3 month old came home from grandma's wearing a dish towel with safety pins once.
One day at the mall, in what I thought it would be a quicky trip, my son pooped and his shorts and shirts got all dirty, eeek!!!, I had to buy not just diapers and wipes, but a whole new outfit. Since that day I wouldn´t leave the house with less than 5 diapers and 2 changes of clothes.
I had it happen at the mall. We had one diaper, but two blow-outs. The worst part was we were there with my brother (in his car) and were supposed to meet him at a certain place and time. Of course, my cell phone had broken the day before. I stuffed toilet paper into his pants and ran to the Target at the other end of the mall to buy diapers and wipes... I actually tried to scope everything out for a few minutes to see if I saw another parent with a kid about my son's age to see if I could borrow a diaper!!! I am sooo much more careful about having lots of extras now!!!
