What better way to be welcomed home than with a kiss from the kids? This story may make you think twice about puckering up. A Hicksville homemaker lost her hearing after her daughter delivered a deafening kiss to her ear. The 4-year-old child's lip suction pulled Gail Schwartzman's eardrum out towards the ear canal and caused tiny ligaments to disconnect. While this was a rare and unintentional occurrence, doctors caution parents from kissing into their infant's ears.
