While not technically a kids festival, Wisconsin's Summerfest on June 27 to July 1 and July 3 to 8 is known for being family-friendly. One of the largest music festivals in the world, Summerfest includes two dozen stages and more than 700 bands. Some of this year's headliners: Rascal Flatts, the Beach Boys, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, and Zac Brown Band.
Kid-focused events include jungle gyms, a robotics lab, water events (the festival is right on Lake Michigan), splash pads, hands-on musical experiences, art projects, and more. Kids ages 2 to 10 get in for $4 (children under 2 are free), and adult general admission tickets start at just $7 a day.
