That's so great there's a biodegradable option! I always feel bad using the plastic-backed ones so I reuse them as long as they are clean.
1I wouldn't put my son down on one of those things without something. This would be a nice addition to the diaper bag...
2I just use the pad that comes with the diaper bag, and disinfect it regularly.
