The Bear family moves into their classic tree house in The Berenstain Bears' Moving Day. The family loves their current home, and Brother Bear loves all of his friends, but the soil is too rocky for Mama Bear's garden, and Papa Bear is running out of trees to cut down for his furniture business (this isn't the most environmentally conscious Bear family on the block, but one thing at a time). Like many young kids, Brother Bear was unhappy about leaving his friends and didn't like it when his beloved toys were packed away in boxes. When moving day arrives, Brother Bear sees that all of his belongings have made the move with him, and friendly neighbors welcome the Bear family to their new neighborhood, easing his Brother Bears' fears.
