Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen Fallon gave a lot of thought to their baby's name. But in the end, they didn't have to look too far. Winnie was named after their favorite vacation spot, and the location of Nancy's family's home where they got engaged — New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee.
Speaking with Today, Jimmy explained, "We were talking about different names. You overthink names — you don’t want a name that’s been done, but then you don’t want something so weird people are like, ‘What?!’ Winnipesaukee’s a little long." The Late Night host joked that Winnie, born via surrogate after five years of trying, is also, "a ‘win’ for us."
