Nicole Kidman has spoken openly about the miscarriage she suffered in the midst of filing for divorce from Tom Cruise, but in an interview with Vanity Fair, she revealed an earlier baby loss. She said, "From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that's when we would adopt Bella."

there are plenty of celeb moms that have miscarried before successfully having children it's nothing new. Joanne Woodward did during her honeymoon in 1958 and because of the lasting emotional scars she's never spoken about it publically Sophia Loren miscarried twice before the birth of her first son Carlo Ponti jr Lana Turner had 6 miscarriages before her daughter Cheryl Crain was born and 6 after due to a blood clotting issue. it's only been in the last 20 years or so that stars have openly spoken about fertility issues and pregnancy loss
