Did You Celebrate Mother's Day While Pregnant?

Which came first – the chicken or the egg? The baby or the mother? As soon as a woman learns she's pregnant, her maternal instincts come rushing in, however some say she's not "eligible" to celebrate Mother's Day when her lil one is still in the womb.

A mama's first Mother's Day is a special one that she'll never forget, but is she jumping the gun if she celebrates before her tot's born?

We sortof did. My hubby got me a teddy bear that now belongs to our daughter, and my parents got us a little statue of a pregnant mommy.

I say a special prayer on Mother's Day. But the day makes me feel awkward I had a miscarriage and haven't been able to conceive again. I consider myself a mother to a wonderful baby in Heaven, whom I haven't yet had the pleasure to meet. But saying that to anyone who is a "real" mother makes me feel weird.

Neural - I had the same timetable with number 1 and I was already mom when pregnant with number 2. But I think I would have wanted to celebrate!

I got pregnant right after Mother's Day in 2005 and had her the next Feb, so there wasn't a Mother's Day to celebrate until after I was already a Mommy. :)
