Children should consume four ounces of fluid every 15-20 minutes. One ounce equals about one "gulp." Children ages one to three should have five and half cups of water daily. Children four to eight should consume seven cups of water daily. (Check stats for older kids here.)
Lil Tip: If your little one resists drinking water make consumption a game by letting her earn raisins, berries or another natural treat for every cup of water she drinks then let her snack on the six raisins when she finishes dinner.
