Candy in Prescription Bottles Handed Out to Kids at Sam's Club
Dear Sam Walton, Say It Ain't So!
While parents warn their children about the tricks that can be found in candy on Halloween, most don't worry about the dangers of going to their local grocer. But, some kiddos received medicine bottles full of sweets on their family's Saturday outing to Sam's Club. Recently, a man, his wife and two children walked through the doors of the warehouse store where both daughters were each handed real prescription bottles filled to the rim with Dots and Tootsie Rolls. While no harm was done, the store's freebie put the idea that candy lives in medicine bottles in youngsters' heads. What do you think about this marketing stunt?
