The holy grail for dollhouse enthusiasts, The Kaleidoscope House is sadly no longer being manufactured, but had to be included as an iconic modern dollhouse that's widely considered to be the one that started the whole modern dollhouse movement in 2001. To be sure, there were modern-style dollhouses on the market before Bozart manufactured the Kaleidoscope House, but none achieved the type of critical acclaim far beyond the dollhouse industry. Occasionally one of the highly coveted beauties pops up on eBay, incites a bidding war, and it's a safe bet that someone spending thousands on a dollhouse isn't going to be giving it to a five-year-old to knock around.
