Best of 2010: What Was Your Favorite Baby Carrier?

Every mama could use an extra hand or two, and baby carriers make that possible. Though Baby Bjorn had the market cornered for some time, many new brands have made a name for themselves over the past few years. Despite a Consumer Product Safety Commission warning about the use of certain slings earlier this year, moms love the hands-free devices. We looked at a lot of carriers – which is your favorite?

Love my Cybex. It's easy to use, comfortable to wear and good looking.

i agree with cyber-momma. cybex is a great new company. really user friendly products. you should check out the strollers, they are terrific.

hands down fave is Baby K'tan and Ergo. For newborn nothing beats the K'tan and for 10 months nad up i swear by my Ergo. glad they are both on the list.

Oh my gosh i am so happy the K'tan is on this list! i swear by my Baby K'tan! I found it a local store by me and hadn't heard of it so took a chance and got it. now i tell everyone about it! i think i have sold over 100 just by walking around the mall! lol

I love my Baby K'tan! Could not live without it! it's so much easier to use than a wrap.

My hands down favorite was and is the BabyHawk. It is a type of Meitei and is amazing for travel. For newborns, nothing beats a Mobywrap! Wish they were on the list.

I can't believe beco is not on this list. It is by far my favorite. I've used it when our mom's group went on hikes and even though I had the heaviest baby (my little boy hit 20 pounds at 6 months), I was the only one who wasn't saying my back hurt!

My ring sling is still the best ever! There's no problems with them if the person using it knows how to use it properly as with any carrier! It's just as easy to get into a wrong position with a non ring sling, or a wrap, as well as many others out there and I would never use a carrier that has baby facing out with their legs dangling as it's not a good position for spinal and hip alignment.
