Beauty Perks That Come With Having Babies

The truth is as much as we mothers bag on our looks once we have babies, there are a whole lot of perks that come with bringing up children. Here are a few. Feel free to add to the list.

No matter how tight and toned, six pack abs aren't as amazing as a belly with a baby inside.
Pregnant boobs give great cleavage.
Wearing a child on your hip flatters the figure.
No perfume is as delicate or intoxicating as the lingering scent of a newborn.
A smile is a billion times more brilliant when it's flashing at a lil darling.
Women pay good money for tousled styles similar to those your 3-year-old hairstylist gives you.
The glow that comes from playing with your kids isn't sold in a bottle.

SugaSuga and GlowingMoon - If you are not interested in having children, then why are you reading and commenting on this post? The title is "perks of having children." It is obvious from reading the title that this post doesn't apply to women who haven't had children. Therefore, no one is making the assumption that these perks apply to all women. They only apply to mothers. There is no rule that every post must be equally applicable to all readers. You've made your choice to not have children, so live with it in peace and stop making it an issue of contention for people who have chosen a different path.

6 pack abs--hard to come by, a real accomplishment. Getting knocked up? Not so much!Pregnant boobs are fatty looking boobs, with a gut down below that try as they might, a lot of women can't completely get rid of after birth.Wearing a child on your hip is tiring and uncomfortable, hardly flattering, unless it's to hide the lovehandles that pregnancy gives you.The scent of a newborn--do we forget that newborns are ejected from an area an inch away from the same area we eject waste?These were too easily disputed, and I agree with GlowingMoon--let's not make the poor assumption that these "perks" apply to every woman. Some women want lives that do not involve wiping noses and butts every 5 minutes and losing countless hours of sleep.

hmmm my baby perfume smells more like spit up but that's ok with me :-) The rest works.
